Bearded Trivia is Spokane’s most decorated trivia night—led by Mike Duke, Spokane's four-time “Best Trivia Night” winner with a knack for packing out pubs and keeping players on their toes. The challenge? Take a scene dominated by corny jokes and clunky clip art, and give it the kind of bold identity that feels just as smart and entertaining as the game itself.
I worked with Mike to build a brand that could stand out as much as his personality behind the mic: sharp, dynamic, and full of energy. From the logo to the visual system and collateral, I created a design language that feels more like MTV than PBS: instantly recognizable and impossible to ignore. The new identity gave Bearded Trivia a voice that was modern, confident, and a little mischievous, putting butts in seats and answers on the tips of tongues.
